Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using The Platinum Card® from American Express, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through the Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points (on up to $500,000 on these purchases per calendar year). Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.
Premium economy deals are always great, especially on a five-star airline like Singapore. We’re seeing great deals from Los Angeles (LAX), Seattle (SEA), San Francisco (SFO) and New York (JFK) to cities in Asia such as Tokyo (NRT) and Singapore (SIN) and even a nonstop ticket in premium economy to Frankfurt (FRA).
Most of the routes are nonstop, though the New York to Singapore ticket includes a layover in Frankfurt. We first spotted the deal to Singapore on FlyerTalk. You can read our review of Singapore Premium Economy here.
To search, head to Google Flights and enter your origin and destination cities. Scroll through the calendar function to find dates and prices that work for you. Finally, click through to book directly with the airline or an OTA like Orbitz or Expedia.
