Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz's courtesy cancellation if you're unable to travel.

Low Vegas fares from Philly seem to pop up quite often, but it's been a while since we've seen a sale this good. You can fly nonstop between Philadelphia (PHL) and Las Vegas for $37 each way on American. United also has similar fares, from $40 each way (a stop is required). You could theoretically also use this sale to get to Chicago, Denver, Houston, San Francisco or other United hubs on the cheap — you can get off and throw away the Vegas segment, as long as you're not checking bags (note: airlines frown upon this practice). You can also mix airlines (American and United) if you're booking a round-trip (see below).

Once you get to Vegas, save big by booking a Visa Signature hotel with the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve Card, Alaska Airlines Visa or other Visa Signature cards. Also consider dining at these 6 Sure Bet Restaurants On (and Off) the Las Vegas Strip. With prices this low, it could be worth taking the train from New York or D.C.
