Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to travel. Additionally, keep in mind that discounted partner fares may not earn miles with US-based carriers.
Singapore is just about as far as you can get from the East Coast. The city makes for a great starting point for vacations to Southeast Asia, and other destinations in the region. Right now, Delta is offering terrific deals for one-stop service from New York to Singapore, with round-trip flights available starting at just $588. The deal is good from September through June of 2017, but after October 2, Delta is eliminating its nonstop flight from New York to Tokyo, so you will have to make an additional connection in Detroit. But this deal is still one of the lowest prices we have seen from the East Coast to Singapore, especially all on Delta metal. The Tokyo to Singapore flight is also operated by Delta, as a 5th freedom flight. You will also earn almost 21,000 MQMs with this trip.
