Get a Free Sam's Club Membership from American Express (Targeted)

It's incredibly rare that we see 100% credits available from Amex Offers, but that's exactly the case here. From now through September 30, Amex will give you a $45 statement credit when you purchase a Sam's Club membership for $45 — so you're essentially getting a one-year membership for free. Sam's Club recently began accepting American Express, following Costco's decision to move to Visa. Now, it looks like Sam's is looking to drum up some more interest among Amex cardholders with a free membership offer.
This offer is targeted, but availability is likely widespread. For example, I had this offer listed for the following accounts:
- American Express Premier Rewards Gold Card
- The Amex EveryDay® Credit Card from American Express
- Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express
Unfortunately it wasn't available on any of my business Amex cards, so it's likely that this promotion is limited to personal cards, such as those listed above. Note that this offer only applies when you sign up at US retail locations.
Sam's Club was allowing Costco members to visit its stores for free, but that offer expired yesterday. If you're an American Express cardholder with a $45 credit available in your account, however, this Amex Offer is a heck of a lot more exciting.
