Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you're using the American Express Platinum Card, you'll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia's courtesy cancellation if you're unable to get the time away from work or family.

Low-cost carrier WOW Air has been expanding its footprint in the US market for just more than two years. The carrier now offers a low-cost option for travelers looking to get to Europe without having to shovel out a ton of cash. And now, WOW is lowering its fares even further. For a limited time, it's offering tickets starting at $69 one-way from certain US cities to select European destinations.

The $69 one-way tickets are available from Boston (BOS), Baltimore (BWI), Pittsburgh (PIT), Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO) and Miami (MIA) to Paris (CDG), Brussels (BRU), Stockholm (ARN), Dublin (DUB), Berlin (SXF), London (LGW), Copenhagen (CPH) and Edinburgh (EDI), via Reykjavik, Iceland (KEF). When paired with one of its return tickets, we're seeing round-trip fares from $219.

The limited-time only discounted fares are for travel between September and November 2017, however, we're seeing some availability beyond that and into December. The best way to search for when you want to fly is by using Google Flights' calendar function, selecting which dates you want to travel and then booking through WOW Air's site.
