Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. For this particular deal, book through Priceline which allows you to cancel flights without penalty within one day of booking. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Priceline's courtesy cancellation if you're unable to get the time away from work or family.

If you've been dreaming about a safari, this is a great opportunity to score a terrific price on flights to the biggest city in South Africa. We're currently seeing airfares as low as $666 round-trip from multiple US cities — including rarely seen Washington, DC (IAD/DCA) as well as New York (LGA/JFK), Baltimore (BWI), Boston (BOS), Miami (MIA), Philadelphia (PHL) and even Chicago (ORD) — to Johannesburg, South Africa (JNB) on Delta Airlines.

Normally we tell readers to use Google Flights to find the dates you want and then book on Orbitz, Expedia or directly with the airline itself. However, for this particular deal, if you use Google Flights to search for dates, the flights will price in the low-$800s. You'll have to book specifically through Priceline in order to get the lowest price, though you can use the Google Flights calendar to determine which dates are the cheapest and likely to price at the low level on Priceline.

Availability for this sale is mostly in the winter and spring months of November 2017 through March 2018, excluding the December holiday period, and generally these itineraries have one reasonable connection in Atlanta (ATL). Since these are international trips on a full service carrier, you'll get your first checked bag free and even a complimentary meal during the flight.
