Update: Some offers mentioned below are no longer available. View the current offers here.
Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz's courtesy cancellation if you're unable to travel. Additionally, keep in mind that discounted partner fares may not earn miles with US-based carriers.
Cheap flights to Cancun are around once again for travel this winter. If you're looking for a warm-weather destination, you can find low fares from Baltimore (BWI), Chicago (ORD) and New York (JFK) to Cancun (CUN) in January and February. Most of these flights are operated by American and Delta, although it seems that Aeromexico also has a few competitive rates as well. Flights on Delta from Chicago start at $265 round-trip, while flights from the East Coast start around $280 on American. There's plenty to do in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, and winter is one of the best times to visit.
