Amazing Deal Alert: Business Class DFW-EZE and JFK-GYE For Under $1,000 Roundtrip
Yesterday, I wrote about amazing fares on American Airlines this spring where you could score roundtrip business class tickets on American and its Oneworld partner LAN from New York City to Santiago Chile for as low as $901 total.
These fares are still available on many dates in April or May, so if you haven't gotten in on them yet, there's still time.
Per this FlyerTalk thread, many people have also been able to tack on legs to Easter Island to their Santiago itineraries, so that could be another great option for many of you. It has also turned up a couple of other great American fares from the US to other South American gateways.
ITA Software is showing roundtrip business class fares from DFW-EZE (Buenos Aires) for as low as $930 roundtrip in April and May for stays of anywhere from 4-8 nights.

Just to double check, I tried finding a fare on American, and it came up for several of the days ITA listed including this trip from DFW-EZE via Miami in May for 6 nights:

And best of all, the MIA-EZE outbound and return legs were both on LAN which has a superior business product. Even better is the fact that flights on this route tend to go for anywhere from $4,000-$6,000 roundtrip normally, so you're getting a potentially huge discount while flying to some great destinations.
Another great deal seems to be from New York JFK-Guayaquil GYE in Ecuador roundtrip in business class for as low as $987, also in April and May.

To get the lowest fare, you have to depart on a Monday and stay 10 nights, but shortening your trip or departing on different days only raises the price slightly to $997 or up to about $1,014 for maximum flexibility in terms of departure days and number of nights.
Just to double check, I tried booking this on American and didn't have a problem at all by following the dates and night ranges ITA generated, finding this fare for $987 from May 6-16 from JFK-GYE via Miami.

Normally this itinerary from JFK-GYE in business class tends to be closer to the $2,000 mark, so while the discount here isn't quite as impressive, it's still around 50% and could be well worth taking advantage of.
