Earn 75,000 Points When You Sign Up for the Citi Hilton HHonors Visa Signature Card

Currently, you can earn an elevated bonus when you sign up for the Citi Hilton HHonors Visa Signature Card and meet the spending requirement. The standard offered for this card is 40,000 points after you spend $1,000 in the first four months, but currently you can get 75,000 points for spending $2,000 in the first three months.
Is it worth it?
We've seen this offer pretty regularly — most recently in late 2016 — and it's a big step up from the standard 40,000-point bonus. Based on TPG's valuations, 75,000 Honors points are worth $375, but it's possible to squeeze more worth out of this bonus if you redeem at a Hilton property with expensive cash rates. For example, you could use 70,000 points for a stay at the Conrad Miami in late March when the nightly rate is $429, giving you a per-point value of 0.6 cents.
As we've mentioned in previous posts when this limited-time offer was available, the 75,000-point bonus, not to mention the card's relatively generous bonus category earning rates, are impressive for a card that has no annual fee. You even get complimentary Hilton Honors Silver status, which includes a 15% points bonus on Hilton stays, late checkout and more. And if you complete four Hilton stays within your first 90 days as a cardmember or make at least $20,000 in purchases on the card each calendar year, you'll be upgraded to Honors Gold status.
Just keep in mind that this card does charge a 3% fee on foreign transactions, so you won't want to use it for purchases outside the US.
Bottom Line
If you've missed out on this elevated offer in the past, now's a great opportunity to nab it again. Those 75,000 points can take you pretty far, and complimentary Honors Silver status is a nice benefit for a card that doesn't charge an annual fee.
