2,500 Miles Off Your Next American Airlines Award Booking
In March American AAdvantage launched an award map that tells you where you can go with your miles. It is a nifty little tool, though I honestly haven't used it since first taking it for a testdrive.

Anywho, they are running a promotion to advertise the tool and are giving away a bunch of miles and some grand prizes. But the key thing is- everyone is a winner! Even if you don't win a grand prize, you'll get a voucher worth 2,500 off your next award redemption:
"Unfortunately, you didn't win the daily prize, but you have earned 2,500 miles back on your next flight redemption. Use the Award Map to book a flight with your AAdvantage® miles for travel between September 4 and November 20, to earn 2,500 miles back.* Come back tomorrow for another chance to win 25,000 miles"
-You must book your flight between 6/26/13 and 7/24/13, and travel between 9/4/13 and 11/20/13. Please allow 6-8 weeks for the 2,500 miles to be credited back to your account.
-Members will receive 2,500 miles off flight award redemption for AA and partner flights.
-Award itinerary must be booked online on aa.com.
-Each AAdvantage member account is only eligible for one rebate during this promo.
-Please allow for 6-8 weeks for miles to be posted to your account, after travel occurs.
-Miles will be credited to the AAdvantage member account from which the redemption occurs.
I like how partner flights are included, though the aa.com booking limits the number of partners you can use for this promo. This will also stack with the Citi AA personal card 10% rebate on mileage redemptions (up to 10,000 miles a year). With both promotions, a 40,000 mile offpeak award to Europe would end up costing you 33,500 miles (though remember you need to travel by 11/20/13 for the rebate to work, which drastically cuts down on the off-peak window).
You might as well sign-up even if you don't plan to book an award- you never know what might come up!
