Quick summary
Several loyalty programs are offering limited-time transfer bonuses, allowing members to receive extra miles or points when moving rewards to select airline or hotel partners.
Bonuses range from 15% to 100% and are available across various programs, including those linked to airlines, hotels and flexible rewards currencies.
Transfer ratios and bonus amounts vary depending on the program and, in some cases, the specific card used for the transfer.
It's generally advised to transfer points only when you have a planned redemption, as transfers are irreversible and award availability can change.
What to consider
Most transfer bonuses are available for a short period, with many ending by late October or mid-November.
Some bonuses require specific cards to unlock the highest transfer ratios or are tiered based on the amount transferred.
Points and miles values differ by program; for example, Capital One miles are worth 1.85 cents each and Citi ThankYou Rewards points are worth 1.9 cents each as of October 2026 per TPG's valuations.

Marriott Bonvoy members can receive 15% bonus Aeroplan points when converting Bonvoy points to Air Canada Aeroplan through Oct. 31. The usual ratio is 3 Marriott Bonvoy points to 1 Aeroplan point, so 3,000 Bonvoy points will produce 1,150 Aeroplan points with the bonus. The bonus may take eight to 10 weeks after the offer ends to post.
Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card (see ): Earn 45,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening.

Wyndham Rewards is offering double United MileagePlus miles when members convert Wyndham points to United Airlines miles through Oct. 31. The usual 5:1 transfer ratio becomes 5:2, so 6,000 Wyndham points convert to 2,400 United miles. Transfers must be made in increments of 6,000 points, with a maximum of 60,000 points per transfer and 90,000 points in total under the offer.
Despite the enticing 100% bonus, this transfer may not make sense for most members. Based on TPG's October 2026 valuations, 6,000 Wyndham Rewards points are worth $33, while 2,400 United miles are worth $28.80. It could still be useful if your Wyndham points are nearing expiration or you need to top up your MileagePlus account for a specific redemption.

Rove is offering four transfer bonuses for October. Through Oct. 31, Rove members can receive a 50% bonus when transferring Rove miles to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank, a 40% transfer bonus when transferring to Air France-KLM Flying Blue and up to a 35% bonus when transferring to Qatar Airways Privilege Club, with the exact bonus determined as follows:
Transfer up to 49,999 Rove miles to receive 15% bonus Avios.
Transfer 50,000 to 99,999 Rove miles to receive 25% bonus Avios.
Transfer 100,000 Rove miles or more to receive 35% bonus Avios.
Rove is also offering a 20% transfer bonus to JetBlue TrueBlue through Nov. 14. During the promotion, 1,000 Rove miles will become 1,200 TrueBlue points.
How to earn Rove miles
We're excited about the "no credit card required" rewards program, Rove. You can book hotels and flights and shop online through the Rove portal; it lets you earn incredible amounts of transferable miles, including up to 54 miles per dollar spent on select hotels.
Rove now has more than 20 transfer options, including Japan Airlines Mileage Bank, Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Qatar Airways Privilege Club, Air Canada Aeroplan, Lufthansa Miles & More, Qantas Frequent Flyer and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.
If you don't have any Rove miles, you can earn 1,500 miles at no cost right now just by signing up through this link. You can also earn an additional 5,000 miles when making your first hotel booking over $500 as a new user with the code "BRIANKELLY500."
We only recommend transferring points or miles if you have a short-term plan to use them. Transfers are irreversible, and you don’t want to be stuck with thousands of points or miles in a program you have little use for.
If you don’t have a specific redemption in mind but still want to earn points or miles, you’re likely better off earning rewards through card welcome bonuses and everyday spending.
We always recommend verifying award availability before transferring your rewards.
Bottom line
When a program with a transferable currency offers a transfer bonus, it’s important to run the numbers to determine whether it is worthwhile.
Generally, you won’t want to transfer your points or miles unless you have a specific redemption in mind. After all, a large part of the value of transferable points and miles comes from their flexibility, which you’ll give up when you convert them to a partner’s currency. However, a transfer bonus can help you get more value from your points and miles if you frequently use a partner program or plan to redeem them soon.
