Who is this card good for?

This card is a great pick for beginners and points and miles experts alike. Since this card earns miles at a fixed rate, it’s easy for beginners to build up a stash of rewards. Those with a bit more experience who are looking for a fixed rate card can easily use the Capital One Venture Rewards card to cover miscellaneous travel purchases or gain the ability to leverage Capital One’s transfer partners.

Earning rewards

The Capital One Venture Rewards card is one of the most valuable rewards cards for everyday spending. It earns 2 miles on every dollar spent, and based on TPG’s valuations, you’re receiving 1.85 cents for every dollar. You can redeem miles by transferring them to any of Capital One’s 15-plus transfer partners of hotels and airlines.
