CLEAR, the biometric-based membership service that offers travelers expedited security screening, has been quickly expanding to airports — and music and sports venues — across the country. And today, the service launched at yet another, major airport: Los Angeles (LAX).

It’s been known for a while that CLEAR would be available at LAX, but the launch date was not explicitly stated. As of today, however, CLEAR technology is offered in several of LAX’s terminals, including 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7. In addition, CLEAR will be available in terminals 1 and 5 in the coming weeks.

As a reminder CLEAR allows you to verify your identity at a kiosk via your fingerprint or a scan of your iris. Once you’re verified, you can head to the front of the security lane, whether that be the PreCheck or “regular” screening line. Ultimately, the service can really speed up the airport experience. Plus, if you’re a member, you can bring your family members who are younger than 18 years old with you for free.

With the launch of today’s service at LAX, CLEAR is now offered at a total of 22 airports. Here’s the full list:

  • Atlanta (ATL)
  • Austin (AUS)
  • Baltimore (BWI)
  • Dallas (DFW)
  • Denver (DEN)
  • Detroit (DTW)
  • Houston (IAH and HOU)
  • Las Vegas (LAS)
  • Los Angeles (LAX)
  • Miami (MIA)
  • Minneapolis (MSP)
  • New York (HPN, JFK and LGA)
  • Orlando (MCO)
  • San Antonio (SAT)
  • San Francisco (SFO)
  • San Jose (SJC)
  • Seattle (SEA)
  • Washington, D.C. (DCA and IAD)

As a reminder, a CLEAR membership costs $179 annually (or $149 using promo code CLEARTPG18). However, if you’re a Delta Diamond Medallion member, you can get your CLEAR membership for free. If you have Delta Platinum, Gold or Silver Medallion status or if you’re a cardholder of the Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card, the Platinum Delta SkyMiles Credit Card, the Delta Reserve Credit Card or any of their business versions, you can get a discounted membership for $79 annually. Or, if you’re a basic Delta SkyMiles member, you can get an annual rate of $99.
