Hilton adds 390 Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties to Hilton Honors
Last month, the first three Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties were integrated into the Hilton Honors system — and now, nearly 400 more are available to book directly with Hilton, allowing members to earn or use Hilton Honors points at some incredible hotels.
Over the last few months, Hilton loyalists have been waiting patiently for this day after news broke that Hilton had snatched the collection of independent hotels from Hyatt, which many saw as a big loss for the World of Hyatt loyalty program.
Now, 390 SLH hotels and resorts have already opted to join Hilton Honors, according to a statement from Hilton, with more expected to be added over time as the partnership continues to roll out. That number is significantly more than the roughly 100 rumored to join, which is a big win for Hilton Honors and its push to expand its luxury and lifestyle offerings.
For now, Hilton Honors members, especially those with higher elite status, can expect a slew of benefits for SLH stays booked through Hilton. These benefits include:
- Member: Guaranteed member discount, complimentary standard Wi-Fi, complimentary late checkout, bottled water and no resort fees on award stays
- Silver: 20% elite tier bonus, fifth standard reward night free and all entry-level member benefits
- Gold: 80% elite tier bonus, complimentary breakfast (for two guests), space-available upgrades, fifth standard reward night free and all entry-level member benefits
- Diamond: 100% elite tier bonus, complimentary breakfast (for two guests), space-available upgrades, fifth standard reward night free and all entry-level member benefits

A few standouts from the now-integrated resorts include the Rusty Parrott Lodge & Spa in Jackson, Wyoming, a 40-room stunner near Yellowstone and incredible skiing; Nimb Hotel in Copenhagen's iconic Tivoli Gardens; and Antigua's Hermitage Bay, a beautiful all-inclusive resort that makes it possible to use Hilton Honors points to pay for a vacation that includes all your food and drinks.
If you want to book SLH properties with Hilton Honors points, Hilton is pricing at standard award rates, which means "standard" rooms are capped at a certain number of points. For example, you can currently book a beachfront suite at Hermitage Bay, a luxury all-inclusive in Antigua, for 130,000 points per night. If you were to pay cash for this suite, it would cost $2,845. Therefore, you're getting about 2 cents per Hilton Honors point, which is a great value.

However, if you were to book a room at this hotel that is not classified as a "standard" room, such as the Hillside pool suite, you'd pay 1,353,000 points per night. Since the cash price of this room is $2,975, you would be getting a value of only 0.2 cents per point, which is far below TPG's July 2024 Hilton Honors valuation of 0.6 cents.
If you want to book a standard room at the Nimb Hotel in Denmark, a deluxe room will cost up to 120,000 Hilton points. Now, if you're traveling during the off-peak season, such as mid-February, this is a somewhat decent redemption as cash prices for this same room are less than $700, giving you a value of 0.58 cents per point. However, if you really want to maximize your Hilton Honors points, booking a deluxe room in mid-June 2025 will cost you $1,244 or 120,000 points. Therefore, you'll get a value of about 1 cent per point.
Overall, it's great to see that Hilton is operating using standard award pricing. This means that "standard" rooms will be capped at a certain award rate instead of pricing each room dynamically.
Bottom line
Hilton's partnership with SLH is just one of a handful of strategic partnerships and acquisitions helping expand Hilton's reach. This year, the company also partnered with AutoCamp, an outdoor lodging brand, to add Airstream trailers and luxury glamping to Hilton Honors. Additionally, it acquired Graduate Hotels, a collection of college-themed hotels around major universities, for $210 million. Not to mention, it took a majority stake in NoMad Hotels, too.
