According to the popular Benjamin Franklin quote, "... nothing is certain except death and taxes." If Disney World had been around in the late 1700s, Franklin might have known there was one more certainty in life — ever-rising Disney World ticket prices.

It's true that Disney World ticket prices don't go up every year, but 2025 is one of those years. Overnight, Disney World revealed pricing for the 2025 holiday season, with the most expensive ticket type nearly teetering over the $200 mark. The cost of annual passes and certain dining experiences also went up.

If you are planning to visit Disney World in 2025, here are the prices you can expect to pay.

Disney World holiday 2025 tickets

Disney World released ticket prices for most of 2025 earlier this year. For 2024, one-day, one-park Disney World ticket prices ranged between $109 and $189 per day. In 2025, that price range will increase to between $119 and $199 per day; it's the first time since 2018 that Disney has increased the base price for its cheapest ticket.

The cheapest one-day, one-park ticket has stayed at $109 for six years, but in 2025, the least you can expect to pay is $119. Disney World's ticket prices vary by park and date, so this price applies only to Disney's Animal Kingdom on select dates in August and September 2024 (the cheapest months to visit).

Here are the 2025 price ranges for a one-day ticket to each Disney World park:

  • Magic Kingdom: $144 to $199
  • Epcot: $129 to $194
  • Disney's Hollywood Studios: $139 to $194
  • Disney's Animal Kingdom: $119 to $174

Not all 2025 dates will be more expensive than they were in 2024, but based on the ticket prices Disney revealed overnight, you will pay nearly $200 per person, per day to visit during the 2025 holiday season.

On dates in late November and late December (around Thanksgiving and Christmas), a one-day, one-park ticket will cost between $174 and $199. This is an increase of $10 over the 2024 price range of $164 to $189. This also marks a new high for one-day Disney World tickets.

Of course, this means multiday tickets will also cost more. A three-day ticket at the end of December this year will cost you $498.20. Next year, a three-day ticket for the same period will cost $527.34 if you choose to visit one park per day. The good news is that the price to add the Park Hopper option to your ticket remains unchanged at $85.

Disney World annual passes

Prices for Disney World's annual passes are also increasing, but the change is effective immediately. Disney World has four annual pass types, three of which are only available to Florida residents and/or Disney Vacation Club members. Only the Incredi-Pass, the most expensive of the four, is available to visitors who live outside of Florida.

In 2023, prices for Disney World's annual passes ranged from $439 to $1,449 per person. As of Wednesday, those prices have increased by as much as $100. Here are the new prices:

  • Disney Pixie Dust Pass: $469
  • Disney Pirate Pass: $829
  • Disney Sorcerer Pass: $1,079
  • Disney Incredi-Pass: $1,549

Disney World character dining and buffet meals

According to Disney Tourist Blog, several of Disney World's dining prices also went up, including some character dining experiences, buffet meals and individual quick-service and snack cart menu items.

For example, a character meal with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eyeore at the Magic Kingdom's Crystal Palace cost between $48 and $61 per adult (between $30 and $40 for children ages 3 to 9) prior to this change. Now, you'll pay $52 per adult for breakfast (or $33 per child) and $62 per adult for lunch and dinner (or $42 per child).

Other character meals, including Cinderella's Royal Table and Be Our Guest, among others, also saw price hikes. Individually priced menu items like soda, pretzels, popcorn and cinnamon rolls went up slightly as well. You can expect to pay about 25 cents, $1 or $2 more for several popular snacks and drink items with the latest increase.

Bottom line

Despite the rising prices at Walt Disney World, there are still ways to save money on your next vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

In 2025, Disney is offering free water park tickets on your day of arrival for on-site hotel guests. You can also save by applying one of several Disney World discounts, including a current hotel and ticket package that can save you up to $200 per night. If even discounted Disney World hotel prices are out of your budget, there are several hotels in the Disney Springs area with rates as low as $98 per night.

Remember, too, to take advantage of other ways to save money at Disney World to help keep your budget under control in the face of these ticket price hikes.
