Frontier Airlines (yea, the one that just announced fees for carry-on bags) is making a big push for the Washington, DC market and just announced 14 non-stop routes from Washington Dulles airport.

Vegas for roughly the price of a movie ticket? Sure!

Ft. Lauderdale for roughly the price of a movie ticket? Sure!

To celebrate, they’re offering a limited number of $15 fares for flights through November 19, 2014 but purchased by 11:59pm Eastern tonight, May 13, 2014.  However, their website appears to have crashed, because I haven’t been able to price any of these out and they just Tweeted they are having technical difficulties. So if you want in, you may want to start trying now so that once things go back online you can snatch up some pretty cheap fares.

Tech fail.. did they not think $15 fares would be popular?

Update at 4:26PM ET I was able to price out a one-way Dulles to Las Vegas flight for November for $14.99 total. Not too bad!

At this price you can afford to lose a little in Vegas!

Amazing deal! If only I lived in DC! :)

My wife was able to book 3 tickets for flights to MCO in sept. It was funny though, because while she paid $90 r/t for her and our kids tickets, she also had to pay $40 for her bag to fly with her (as a carry on) and another $12 to make sure she would be sitting next to our kids. But still, $158 for 3 to fly from IAD to MCO is totally worth it. (But the USAir DM gold status in me is cringing at the loss of EQMs)

Site seems to be back up and running! Was able to price out IAD-Vegas.. good luck to all!

  • thepointsguy

Yea, yea… I’d rather have several $100 bills than some lousy EQMs! (well, not lousy, but you get it!)

  • Ilovetofly

ILOVETOFLY was able to get a ticket for IAD to DTW ..and the funny part of it ,it came back a double booking ….:-( Now i have two Reservation for the same Flight ..strange!

I just booked 2 one-way tickets for my fiancée and I’s wedding on October 3rd. The grand total was $36! Best purchase ever!

what date were you looking at?

page loaded on my iPad, with higher prices, on PC website autoforwarded to load balancer, which didn’t balance the load, and served up a blank screen.

Not bad wouldn’t say amazing considering they charge $12 per person for a seat assignment. And now for carryons. Also you have to pay for drinks at 1.99 and no global first status.
I think a southwest flight with a companion pass beats frontier IMO. Even with the 14.99 one way flights exception being Las Vegas that’s a steal at $14.99.

Can’t seem to find any one way fare for $15 anymore from Las Vegas – Washington. Must have sold out.

  • Amos & Andy

I might consider flying frontier if they paid ME $15

  • shay peleg

    Cheers to that

  • shay peleg

Wow 40$ for a carry on

  • antignos
