15% Off American Airlines Coupon for Dealfinder Installation

American Airlines is encouraging AAdvantage members to download their desktop deal application “Dealfinder” by offering a 15% off coupon on a future flight.

Q: What is American Airlines DealFinder?
A: DealFinder is a downloadable desktop tool offered by American Airlines which allows you to receive automatic, personalized fare alerts and other information via your computer desktop. Once you download the tool and set your travel preferences, DealFinder will alert you about deals to your favorite destinations. By creating searches for your upcoming trips, DealFinder will also show you the current lowest prices and alert you when the price is at or below your target price. The application can also help you stay up to date with news, information and promotions from American Airlines.

I installed the application (for blog writing purposes) and I found the process to be pretty quick and easy. I had entered JFK as my home airport and I noticed my 15% off coupon was for domestic round-trips starting and ending in one of the NYC airports. I assume that requirement will change if you enter a different home airport (so keep that in mind when registering).

As I’ve moaned about before, fares have been rising lately, so every discount counts!

    Per the T&C: “Eligible travel: New reservations made on AA.com for one-way or round-trip* travel … *Round-trip travel is defined as travel from your city TO the destination, and FROM the same destination back to the city where you originated travel with no deviations. ” So, Multi-City will not work …

    This deal is a promo code. The AA gift cards are a method of payment and one can use up to 8 of them to pay for one itinerary (for 1 or more people).

    They should be stackable.

    Yea, I know. I’m starting to dislike AA. And even though I don’t have elite status, I have enough AA miles that might convince me to accrue more of them then fly on a oneworld partner.

    Make sure to log into your AAdvantage account to redeem these. AA codes often don’t work if you don’t.
