Has anyone else noticed how expensive the extra-charge restaurants on cruise ships are getting?
On my recent Princess sailing to Japan, I faced $20 upcharges for all the better steak cuts at the line’s signature Crown Grill steakhouse, on top of the $55 per-person cover charge and automatic 20% service charge. That works out to $90 per person before you even order drinks.
I’ll say for the record that I had a great meal there. But it got me thinking about ways to save when dining on cruise ships. Luckily, we have a lot of advice on the topic here at The Points Guy.
