Since late 2020, American Express has partnered with Uber to offer a complimentary Eats Pass to U.S. consumers with The Platinum Card® from American Express, the American Express® Gold Card and the American Express® Green Card for 12 months — so long as you enroll by Dec. 31, 2021.
The information for the Amex Green card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
Now that 2021 is winding down, TPG has officially received confirmation from Amex that the Uber Eats Pass promotion will not be extended. So, now’s the time to enroll in your complimentary 12-month Uber Eats Pass if you haven’t already.
On the flip side, if you’ve already enrolled for this promotion, be sure to cancel if you no longer are interested in subscribing to Uber Eats after the 12-month trial period.

Valued at $9.99 per month, Eats Pass members get unlimited deliveries with a $0 fee, plus 5% off restaurant orders over $15 at eligible restaurants (taxes and service fees may apply and do not count toward order minimum). Additionally, members in select markets get free grocery delivery on orders over $30. The subscription will then auto-bill starting 12 months from initial enrollment in this offer, at the then-current monthly rate.
Uber has recently transitioned its Eats Pass to Uber One, a program offering “member benefits and invite-only perks for rides, deliveries, groceries, and more.” It combines all of the existing features on the Eats Pass with more — a 5% discount on eligible rides, deliveries and pickup orders — at the same $9.99 monthly cost.
Even if you’ve already claimed your Uber Eats Pass and your 12-month trial has ended, Amex Gold cardmembers will continue to get up to $10 of Uber Cash each month (up to $120 annually), which can also be used for Uber Eats orders within the U.S. (card must be added to the Uber app to receive Uber Cash benefit).
Amex Platinum cardmembers, meanwhile, already get up to $200 in annual Uber credits, which can be used for Uber Eats deliveries as well.
