You may soon be able to have your morning Americano or Pumpkin Spice Latte appear with just the click of a button.

This week, Starbucks launched a pilot delivery service with the take-out arm of Uber, UberEats. The test program launched Wednesday at more than 100 locations in the Miami area.

The trial partnership with UberEats is not the coffee behemoth’s first foray into the world of on-demand delivery. In 2014, the beverage chain attempted to deliver caffeine jolts to their customers with Postmates in its home market of Seattle. That delivery partnership eventually petered out for unclear reasons, as did an attempt at a delivery service that same year based out of the Empire State Building in Manhattan (that location morphed into a mobile-only ordering store).

UberEats is the fastest-growing meal delivery service in the US, tech news site Recode said in April. So, maybe it has enough infrastructure and clout to make this delivery trial stick for Starbucks. The coffee giant also launched a similar delivery program in its China market with Alibaba and will offer the service at more than 2,000 locations in Beijing and Shanghai — another good sign that a successful US delivery network is on the horizon.
