Did you ever think that Seth Rogen would be the one teaching you proper train etiquette? The Toronto Transit Commission announced Tuesday that Rogen would be the voice of reason when it comes to following the rules on Toronto’s subway system. This follows announcements last week that Rogen would also be lending his voice to the PA system Vancouver’s transit system.

Rogen recorded 12 different messages, each trademarked by lighthearted commentary and occasionally, his famous guttural chuckle. With witty comments like “Fair is fare” telling customers to pay for their tickets to personal anecdotes about the area, these messages are sure to garner the attention of passengers.

According to The Toronto Star, Rogen was only in the studio for about 20 minutes recording his PSAs.

In a series of Tweets exchanged in May, Rogen offered to serve as the voice of the TransLink, Vancouver’s public transit system, after its former voice, Morgan Freeman was fired for allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct.

As per usual, people took to Twitter to complain that Rogen was chosen as the voice of the TTC over a Toronto native, namely, Drake. Rogen is a Vancouver native, but made clear that he has several familial ties to the city in this interview with CTV News Toronto.

Rogen reassured people that if somebody more famous wants to take over, the floor is theirs.

“If any more famous person from Toronto wants to do this, I am more than happy to be replaced by them whenever they would like,” Rogen said.

But, Rogen made clear that his interest in these messages had everything to do with his Canadian pride.

“ Anything I can do to be associated with Canada or highlight Canada or shine the spotlight on Canada in any way is something I’m always happy to do.”

Meanwhile, you can listen to Rogen’s clips here.
