Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz's courtesy cancellation if you're unable to travel. Additionally, keep in mind that discounted partner fares may not earn miles with US-based carriers.

American Airlines is currently offering heavily discounted fares for flights to Puerto Rico. American seems to be matching JetBlue's prices after the airline announced a massive sale yesterday. You can fly from New York (JFK) or Boston (BOS) to San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) for just $100 round-trip from now through the middle of November. These are incredibly low prices for a great destination. Although, there is still a CDC travel warning to Puerto Rico due to the prevalence of the Zika virus. Make sure you know how to protect yourself from the Zika if traveling to the island.
