Are these offers worth it?

Whether you’re looking for a large stash of miles or thinking about chasing Delta elite status, these cards are the perfect way to accomplish either of these goals. With limited-time welcome offers, there’s no better time to apply than now.

The Delta Platinum card offers the highest welcome bonus, 90,000 SkyMiles (worth $990 according to TPG valuations). Or, if you want an expedited path to elite status, you can opt for the Delta Reserve, which features an 80,000-SkyMiles welcome offer (worth $880 according to TPG valuations) and 20,000 MQMs. Finally, Delta’s affordable option still offers a whopping 70,000 miles, worth $770 according to TPG valuations.

Bottom line

American Express has a once-per-card-per-lifetime rule, meaning that if you’ve had one of these cards in the past, you won’t be approved or earn the welcome bonus on the card. Since you only get one shot to apply, these limited-time offers are when you should strongly consider getting these cards sooner rather than later.
