Enter for Your Chance to Join the TPG Team at SkyTeam MegaDo 2018
If you're an AvGeek, TPG has some good news for you — and even better news if you're a SkyTeam aficionado. For 2018's annual MegaDo event, we're taking one lucky reader with us to experience all that SkyTeam MegaDo has to offer.
For this year's MegaDo — the first ever involving the SkyTeam alliance — we're taking one lucky TPG reader along for the ride(s). The winner will join TPG's very own Julian Kheel, a world-class points and miles and credit card expert and consummate flyer, in Amsterdam. To enter for your chance to win a ticket to SkyTeam MegaDo 2018, email MegaDo2018@thepointsguy.com with the subject "I want to go to SkyTeam MegaDo." In order to be chosen as the winner, you must be following @thepointsguy on Instagram.
You must enter by 11:59pm ET on Monday, October 1. The winner will be selected at random and notified by Wednesday, October 3. You can find the official TPG sweepstakes rules here.
SkyTeam MegaDo 2018 will take place from October 11-17. You can choose to participate in the full six days, or just the portion of the trip taking place in Europe, October 14-17.
This year's MegaDo will travel from Seattle (SEA) to Amsterdam (AMS) to Prague (PRG) to Palma de Mallorca (PMI) and finally to Barcelona (BCN). Along the way, you’ll be able to go behind the scenes with airlines like KLM and Air Europa, meeting employees, experiencing specially chartered flights and even taking part in a hangar party. Plus, the pre-game party (October 11-14) will allow you to go backstage with Delta and Boeing in Seattle.
The winning ticket includes:
- A reserved seat on the intra-Europe charter flights operated by Air Europa, plus meals and beverages
- Access to all official events and receptions
- All pre-event activities in Seattle
- Bus transportation to the events, when mentioned on the schedule
- Exclusive promotions, including complimentary SkyTeam Elite Plus status through 2019.
Not included are:
- Positioning flights. Participants are expected to book their own transportation to/from the event. MegaDo offers a transatlantic group fare for participants who fly to Europe from the US
- Hotels
- Optional Indonesian dinner in Amsterdam (49 Euros)
- Optional Lelystad Aviodrome museum tour and lunch (99 Euros) — see schedule for details of events.
