For passengers on an early morning JetBlue flight from Orlando(MCO) to LaGuardia(LGA) on Wednesday, the flight was anything but routine. After departing MCO at 6:24am the flight quickly turned back after reports of fumes coming from the cockpit.

The flight returned to MCO and landed with out incident. Three passengers and three crew members were checked by airport medical personnel for fume exposure. No one was transported to the hospital. JetBlue put passengers on a different aircraft to continue their journey to LGA.

"Shortly after departure, JetBlue flight 198 from Orlando to New York-LaGuardia returned to the airport out of an abundance of caution after the crew reported an odor," JetBlue told TPG in a statement. "Flight 198 continued on with a different aircraft. The original aircraft was inspected and later returned to service."

If anyone on our team wouldn’t recommend it to a friend or a family member, we wouldn’t recommend it on The Points Guy either.
