Luxury hotel fans rejoice! American Express cardholders can now earn 10,000 bonus Membership Rewards points or $100 cashback for stays at a number of luxury hotel brands, including InterContinental, Ritz-Carlton, Hilton's Waldorf and more.

While some of these offers have been around for a while, the newest offer popped up today: targeted cardholders who spend $500 or more at InterContinental hotels can earn 10,000 bonus Membership Rewards points — which TPG values at $190 per his latest valuations:

These new offers join a number of existing luxury hotel Amex Offers, including $100 cashback for spending $500 at Ritz-Carlton:

Another great existing offer is $100 cashback for spending $500+ at Hilton properties in the United Kingdom. This offer is available at any Hilton property in the UK — budget or luxury — as the terms and conditions for this offer doesn't exclude luxury hotel brands like the Waldorf Hilton in London.

While all of these offers may be overwhelming, we are just scratching the surface of the many Amex Offers that might be available in your account. Other travel offers include: $160 cashback for spending $800+ on Delta flights (available through 10/8), 20,000 bonus points / $200 cash back for spending $1,000 with Qantas (available through 9/23), $100 cash back for spending $500 with Aerolineas Argentinas (available through 9/27). There's also dozens of shopping offers, such at 15% cashback on Starbucks purchases (available through 10/15).

Remember that Amex Offers are targeted, so not every American Express card will be included in this promotion. In order to see if you’ve been targeted — and to enroll in the offer — log in to your AmericanExpress.com account. Scroll down to the “Amex Offers and Benefits” section. You may need to click “Load More” to see a particular offer.

Keep in mind that American Express is cracking down on people who attempt to use the same Amex Offer across more than one Amex card, and have even announced its intention to claw back credits from some people who used an Amex Offer on multiple cards. So we recommend only registering this offer on one Amex card, regardless of any workarounds you might have used in the past.

How we chose these cards

Our points-obsessed staff uses a plethora of credit cards on a daily basis. If anyone on our team wouldn’t recommend it to a friend or a family member, we wouldn’t recommend it on The Points Guy either. Our opinions are our own, and have not been reviewed, approved, or endorsed by our advertising partners.
