Use this Amex Offer to get 6,000 Amex points when you buy a Delta gift card

American Express has launched another Delta Air Lines targeted Amex Offer.

This offer lets targeted cardholders get 6,000 American Express Membership Rewards points after purchasing a $300 or higher Delta gift card. This offer was first reported by Miles to Memories.

However, reports indicate that some American Express cardholders may also find this offer on their Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express cards. You might also find it on other American Express cards.

Here’s a closer look at the terms of the Amex Offer:

The offer is valid online only on the U.S. website delta.com/giftcards/amex for e-gift cards and physical gift cards purchased in U.S. dollars.

• Enrollment is required before you buy your gift card.
• You must purchase your gift card by Nov. 27, 2022, but the flight(s) can be for after that date.
• A single gift card purchase equal to or greater than $300 will trigger the 6,000 Membership Rewards points bonus.

TPG values American Express Rewards points at 2 cents apiece, so you're effectively getting $120 in Amex points by purchasing a $300 Delta gift card. That's like getting 40% off a $300 flight.

For frequent Delta flyers, that's a nice bonus by going through the extra steps of adding the offer to your card and purchasing an e-gift card with instantaneous delivery.
