If you’ve been waiting for those extra-special Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals to book your next vacation, look no further — we’ve got you covered. TPG has pulled together a list of major airline sales and promotions for the coming holiday week. Discounts and promotions are currently being offered by both international and US carriers for flights within the states and around the world.

When booking your discounted fare, make sure to use the best credit card suited for your purchase — and if you’re new to using points and miles, check out our beginner’s guide to best maximize your travel.

Here is what we have as of Monday, Nov. 26, at 12:30pm ET:


Aer Lingus

According to Irish publication Joe, Aer Lingus is offering discounts from the US to Ireland and back. Travelers can expect €100 ($115) off round-trip flights to West Coast cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle, as well as €50 ($58) off round-trip flights to East Coast cities such as New York, Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Orlando, Miami, Washington, DC, Philadelphia and more. Travel dates are available between Jan. 8 and March 22, 2019. The deal ends on Wednesday, Nov. 28.

In addition to transcontinental flight deals, Aer Lingus is also having a Cyber Monday flash sale on routes from Ireland to Southern Europe from €39.99 ($45.36) round-trip. Flights depart from either Dublin or Cork and fly to various locations such as Malaga, Alicante and Gran Canaria, and must be booked by Tuesday, Nov. 27. Travel dates are between Jan. 8, 2019 and March 13, 2019.


Aeromexico has launched their Black Friday sale with prices as low as $279 for round-trip flights to Mexico and Latin America. Passengers can fly from New York, Los Angeles, Denver, Orlando and more to Lima, Quito, Mexico City, Buenos Aires and other major cities from Nov. 24 to March 31, 2019. All tickets for the promotion must be purchased by Nov. 25.

Air Canada

Air Canada is offering one-way and round-trip flight deals from Canada to the US and other international destinations. Deals are being offered until Nov. 25 — so get them while you can. Travel dates range from Nov. 28 to Dec. 13, 2018, and between Jan. 8 and March 31, 2019. Eligible travel days include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday. Trips can stretch from a minimum of seven days to a maximum of six months.

Air New Zealand

TPG favorite Air New Zealand is having a Cyber Monday flash sale with deals as low as $455 nonstop round-trip. Sales are available from US cities Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Chicago, Houston and Honolulu to New Zealand, Australia, London and Cook Islands. No promo code is necessary for this promotion, and discounts are available in economy, premium economy and business (tickets for business are going for as low as $1,759 round-trip).

Cathay Pacific

This year, Cathay Pacific is offering deals round-trip in economy, premium economy and business class for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. By using the promo code HOLIDAY, travelers can take an extra $1,000 off Business Class, with fares starting at $2,338, and $500 off premium economy, with fares starting at $773. As for economy, Cathay is offering up to 60% off airfare from US cities, with fares as low as $593. The departure period for these deals runs from Jan. 1 to May 15, 2019. The promotion ends on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

Delta Air Lines

This year, Delta is offering flyers deals from the US to Europe and Australia using your SkyMiles. Until Sunday, Nov. 25, round-trips are available from May 23 through Sept. 3, 2019 starting from fares as low as 36,000 miles (plus taxes and fees) from Boston (BOS) to Dublin (DUB) and 70,000 miles (plus taxes and fees) from Los Angeles (LAX) to Sydney (SYD). Other discounted destinations include Edinburgh, Lisbon, London, Paris, Rome, Milan, Amsterdam and more.


British low-cost carrier, easyJet, is also getting in on the Black Friday action with offerings up to £50 ($64) off 60,000 “city breaks.” Discounts are shown at the time of booking (no promo codes required) but one deal includes a three-night trip to Paris from London (flight and hotel included) for £262.23 ($336.31) a person. Some example cities travelers can fly to and from are Amsterdam, Paris, London, Rome, Berlin and Lisbon. The offer ends on Nov. 28.


Emirates is offering discounts for passengers in both economy and business class. From all 12 US Emirates gateways, travelers can fly economy for as low as $449 round-trip any time between Jan. 12, 2019 and May 9, 2019. As for business class, starting at $3,699 flights are available from Dec. 24, 2018 to Aug. 31, 2019. Trips on the award-winning airliner are available to many TPG favorite destinations around the world, including Athens, Manila, Dubai and Delhi. The fares are only available on the Emirates website from Wednesday, Nov. 21 to Saturday, Nov. 24, so get them while you can. 


From today until Cyber Monday, Nov. 26, travelers can book reduced flight fares from select destinations on Finnair. Today (Nov. 21), the Finnish airliner is offering special deals to San Fransisco (SFO) from Finnish cities from €540 ($625.74) round-trip as well as deals to Asia, the US (it’s only €399 or $455 to get to New York), Europe and the Middle East. Finnair also has some discounts on business class fares, starting at €1,999 ($2278) to Chicago and New York. More special deals will be posted throughout the week, including flights to both Reykjavik and Dubai — so stay tuned!


Iberia is welcoming travelers to join in on some big discounts this week to and from the US, Asia, Spain and other European countries with their “Color Friday” promotion. Deals are being offered from Nov. 21 to Cyber Monday, Nov. 26 with trips available until May 31, 2019. Some cheap fares include New York to Barcelona from $318 round-trip and New York to Paris from $312 round-trip. Deals to and from other cities around Europe are also going for fairly low prices, with a trip from Porto (OPO) to Madrid (MAD) going for around $55.18 round-trip.


Icelandair is offering travelers low fares to Europe starting from $309. From select dates throughout 2019, passengers can fly from Seattle, Boston, San Fransisco, Washington D.C., New York and Chicago to major European cities such as Copenhagen, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, London and many more. The offer ends on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 5am — so make sure to book your European vacation as soon as you can!

Norwegian Air

Starting on Black Friday (Nov. 23 at 12:01am ET), Norwegian will be offering up to 15% on all fares on long-haul routes. These “outrageously low fares” are available to all departures from the US and Canada (no discount codes necessary) and will be available until Monday, Nov. 26, at 11:59pm ET. UPDATE: Norweigan has since upped the ante by raising their promotion to 30% off all flights, including premium economy and business class tickets. Redeem by using promo code EVERYROUTE18, valid until Monday, Nov. 26.


Starting Nov. 19, Ryanair is offering a new deal a day as a part of its week-long Black Friday promotion. Currently, the Ireland-based budget airline is from offering £30 off return flights with prices as low as £4.88 ($6.25) for travel dates between Jan. 2019 and April 2019. Keep checking back on the Ryanair page for updates throughout the week. Promotions are being offered until midnight, Nov. 26, Cyber Monday.

Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines is offering discounted fares in both economy, premium economy and business class from $447 round-trip. You can fly from Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), New York (JFK), Newark (EWR) and Houston (IAH) on these especially low-priced flights if you book before Nov. 27 on the Singapore website. Some highlights include business class flights as low as $1,990 from JFK to Frankfurt (FRA), $2,990 from SFO to Hong Kong HKG) and $2,990 from LAX to Tokyo (NRT).


For Cyber Monday, Southwest is offering one-way flight deals for as low as $79 throughout the US. You can purchase these discounted fares from Monday, Nov. 26 through Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018. Travel dates (with acceptions) fall between Dec. 10, 2018 and May 22, 2019 and all flights are non-stop.

Spirit Airlines

By using the promo code 85PCT on Friday, Nov. 23, you can get up to 85% off your Spirit Airlines flight. Discounted flights are available between the dates of Dec. 4, 2018 to Dec. 12, 2018 and Jan. 9, 2019 and Feb 12, 2019. Certain cities are excluded from the deal, so make sure to double check the Spirit landing page before booking. Keep in mind that Spirit does not include a free checked bag and flights may include layovers.

Turkish Airlines

It’s “Fly Day.” For Nov. 23 only, you can book Turkish Airlines’ flights for up to 40% off original ticket price. Passengers can travel from Nov. 23, 2018 to May, 2019. The offer is valid from the US, Canada, Brazil and Argentina for economy, round-trip flights. Prices start as low as $529 to a variety of destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.


WOW Air is offering major flight discounts on both Black Friday and Cyber Monday. From Nov. 20 until Nov. 25, one-way flights from Chicago (ORD), St. Louis (STL), Pittsburgh (PIT), Boston (BOS) and Los Angeles (LAX) to Iceland (KEF) are starting at $69. The airline will also be offering one-way flights for $99 from Amsterdam (AMS), Brussels (BRU), Frankfurt (FRA), Dublin (DUB) and London (LGW) to the aforementioned US airports. The offer applies for 3,000 seats on select flights from November 2018 to April 2019 and is only accessible when booking round-trip flights.
