Aruba, Jamaica, ooh, I wanna take ya! At these prices, we couldn't resist either the song or the ticket. If you're suffering from the post-holiday blues, or it's just too damn cold, it's time to head on down to sunny Bermuda or Bahama with yo' pretty mama — or anyone, really. Flights begin at just $219 round trip nonstop between Baltimore and Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The best fares are available between January and February, and take up to $770 off of the usual ticket prices, according to Google.

As always, many of these budget fares book into basic economy. Basic economy means different things to different airlines, but you may not have free use of the overhead bins for a carry-on bag, and you probably won't be able to select your seat, get an upgrade, check a bag for free or earn PQM/PQS/PQDs. However, it’s possible to defeat many of basic economy’s negative aspects by holding elite airline status or a cobranded credit card.

To find a deal, head to Google Flights and enter your origin and destination cities. Scroll through the calendar function to find dates and prices that work for you. Finally, click through to book directly with the airline or an OTA like Orbitz or Expedia.

How we chose these cards

Our points-obsessed staff uses a plethora of credit cards on a daily basis. If anyone on our team wouldn’t recommend it to a friend or a family member, we wouldn’t recommend it on The Points Guy either.
