Update: Some offers mentioned below are no longer available. View the current offers here – American Express® Gold Card

The rose gold version of the recently revamped American Express® Gold Card tops our list of the prettiest credit cards, and it’s not just worth a place in your wallet thanks to its good looks. It has substance as well: You get 4x points at US restaurants, which makes it the most rewarding choice for purchases in this category. But if you have a chance to get a limited-edition version of the card, that’s a nice cherry on top, right?

You have one day left to apply for the Amex Gold and select the rose gold version, as it’s no longer available starting Jan. 9. After that, if you’re approved for the card you’ll get the standard gold version, which is no eyesore itself but definitely doesn’t carry quite the cachet.

Another reason to apply now: If you apply by Jan. 9, you can receive 20% back as a statement credit at US restaurants within the first three months of card membership. That’s up to $100 back. The card’s also offering 25,000 Membership Rewards points to new card holders who spend $2,000 in the first 3 months of card membership — Amex doesn’t specify when this part of the welcome offer expires.

In addition to earning you 4x points at US restaurants, the Amex Gold earns 4x points on the first $25,000 you spend each year at US supermarkets (then 1x), 3x points on flights booked directly with the airlines or on and 1 point per dollar on everything else. You also get an annual airline fee credit of up to $100 which is good for incidental purchases like checked bag fees (and for gift cards on some airlines), and up to $10 in statement credits monthly when you pay with the card at Grubhub, Seamless, The Cheesecake Factory, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and participating Shake Shack locations.

Especially if you frequently spend on dining and at US supermarkets, this card can be a no-brainer. If the rose gold design tickles your fancy, just make sure to apply ASAP as it’ll be gone (quite possibly for good) tomorrow, Jan. 9.
