250 Continental Miles When You Book With Mastercard

Continental is offering a 250 point bonus when using any Mastercard (credit or debit) to purchase a flight at continental.com from now until June 30, 2011. The flights just need to be purchased by then and the bonus points will be awarded 4-6 weeks after the purchase. Say you are booking 4 people on a trip, in order to maximize this promotion make sure to book each individually - you'd get 1,000 extra points instead of 250. Also, make sure you sign up for Milethon so you get even more bonus points. However, if you are a family, you'll probably want to be on one reservation in case there are flight disruptions so they accomodate you together.
If you need a Mastercard, I highly recommend the 50,000 mile sign-up bonus, fee waived for the first year, Chase Continental Onepass MasterCard. It will qualify for credits in Milethon. And overall, it is a solid card for those who fly Continental or like redeeming for Star Alliance flights (and if you really want to maximize your Continental miles, you can also get a 50,000 point Amex Platinum and transfer those miles to Continental before September. The yearly fee is $450, but the 50,000 point sign-up bonus is worth far more than that, plus you get a ton of perks like lounge access and $200 in travel fee rebates per year).
