You've got just a few hours remaining to scoop up 65,000 bonus Southwest points with a single Southwest personal credit card bonus. These abnormally high offers listed on this site end today, July 14, 2021, at 6 p.m. ET.
TPG valuations peg Southwest points value at 1.5 cents each, making this 65,000-point bonus worth $975. These points also count toward the 125,000 points you need to earn the Southwest Companion Pass, hands-down one of the best deals in travel. It allows a friend or family member to travel with you for just the cost of taxes and fees! Even if you booked your own flight with points, you can still bring someone along for practically free.

To earn the 65,000 points, you need to spend $2,000 in the first three months from account opening. The offer is identical across all three of Southwest's personal cards:
- Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card
- Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card
- Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card

The Chase Southwest Priority is the most premium of the three, effectively negating its annual fee each year with ongoing benefits. That's something the other Southwest cards can't claim. However, if your main concern is the upfront cost, it's certainly possible to get a fair return from the Premier and Plus cards, as well. These massive bonuses are enough to spur many of us to at least try out a Southwest card for eleven months or so.
If you're interested in applying, just keep the following restrictions in mind:
- Chase 5/24 rule — Chase won't approve you for most of its credit cards if you've opened five or more accounts across all banks in the last 24 months. So if you're currently out of 5/24 "slots" you won't be able to open any of the Southwest cards.
- Southwest card eligibility restrictions — You are not eligible for this offer if you currently hold a Southwest personal credit card or have received a bonus for one in the last 24 months.
Bottom Line
The 65,000-point Southwest personal card bonuses disappear today at 6 p.m. ET. These bonuses are fantastic ways to boost your points balance and earn more than half the points necessary to achieve the Southwest Companion Pass. Even if Southwest hasn't been high on your radar in the past, with the recent addition of service to Hawaii and many solid international destinations to choose from, now's a great time to give Southwest Rapid Rewards and its cobranded credit cards a closer look.
