Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency such as Orbitzor Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using The Platinum Card® from American Express, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through the Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.
JetBlue has launched a two-day flash sale that's offering 20% off base airfare (excluding taxes and fees) on all flights. Discounted flights are only eligible for travel from Nov. 27 through Dec. 12, 2018, and excludes Friday and Saturday flights. You'll have to book through this link: jetblue.com/promo and use the promo code: HOLIDAZED when searching. The deal ends on Nov. 14 at 11:59pm EST.
Additionally, this is a great time to use JetBlue points since their value is tied to the cost of the ticket — you can score one-way flights from just 3,300 points and $5.60. You can transfer points from Amex, Chase and Citi to JetBlue.
