If you’re sick of being pranked this April Fool’s Day — look no further. Amtrak is on your side.
Travelers can purchase “Unprank” fares for the next three days, with discounts ranging up to 30 percent off. Passengers can book trips “anywhere between Boston and Virginia” — or along the Northeast Corridor — for travel from May 1 through August 28, 2019. Note that not all departure times will have the lowest advertised price.
One child (age 2-12) per adult can purchase a ticket for half the full, adult rail price — as long as they’re on the same itinerary. Start your search for discounted tickets on the Amtrak website.
