Citi is a TPG advertising partner

A few weeks ago, Citi launched its revamped Prestige Card, complete with a variety of new benefits and perks that make using its greatest feature — the 4th Night Free hotel benefit — even easier. By now, many of you who signed up should have received the card or will be getting it in the mail very soon, and existing cardmembers will receive an updated metal card in due course. The box with TPG's personal Citi Prestige card just arrived at our HQ, so I gave it the traditional unboxing treatment.

The card itself is made of metal, though it's lighter in weight than some of the other premium "heavyweight" cards such as the Chase Sapphire Reserve or the Platinum Card from American Express. That might be welcome news to those whose wallets are getting heavy with lots of metal premium cards. Stylistically, it looks virtually identical to the current version of the card, though if you have a well-trained eye you'll be able to spot some differences in coloring and trim.

The Citi Prestige Card is currently offering a limited time sign-up bonus of 75,000 ThankYou points after you spend $7,500 within the first three months of account opening, and comes with plenty of travel benefits, including a $250 annual Air Travel Credit, a $100 Global Entry/TSA Precheck application fee waiver, primary rental car insurance on rentals outside the US, one of the better Travel Delay Protection policies of any credit card and, of course, the lucrative 4th Night Free hotel perk.
