Heads up — if you’re a cardholder of either the Chase Sapphire Reserve or Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, your grocery store benefit ends on April 30. Since October 2020, cardholders have been able to earn bonus points on up to $1,000 in grocery store purchases (3x and 2x, respectively, for the Reserve and Preferred) each month.

Bottom line
You have one more day to use your Reserve or Preferred card to earn bonus points on your grocery store purchases. While this isn’t the first time Chase has added temporary earning categories, make sure you take advantage of this lucrative grocery category before it expires on April 30.
If you don’t own either card already, now’s a great time to apply. Both cards are offering sign-up bonuses worth at least $1,200, according to TPG valuations.
