Nobody loves a good Amex Offer as much as we do, and we just found one that makes a designer bag a little more within reach.

This weekend, I came across a tempting new Amex Offer on my Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card for FWRD by Elyse Walker, a luxury site for designer goods, offering $160 off an $800+ purchase.

If you consider, for example, that the Medium Logo Embossed Lou Satchel by Saint Laurent is currently selling on the site for $995 (plus tax), you're looking at a deal on the bag for less than $1,000 by taking advantage of the targeted offer. Not to mention that if you're a first-time customer, you can enter the code FWRD10 for an extra 10% off. That brings the grand total to $814.98 when you combine both the discount and Amex Offer — without either of these things, you'd be looking at a price tag of $1,074.48, including tax; with just the Amex Offer, it would be $934.50, still coming in at under $1,000.

In total, that's a savings of almost $260, and definitely a steal when you consider that most YSL bags retail for at least $1,500 minimum. Not bad, not bad at all.

Keep in mind that Amex Offers work as a statement credit on your bill, so you wouldn't see the final price reflected when you go to make your purchase, but rest assured you'll get it later.

If you're targeted for the offer, this is just one of the things you can buy. While virtually everything on the site is definitely on the more expensive side, taking advantage of this offer can clearly soften the blow a little bit.
