New Atmos Rewards card offers: Valuable bonus points and flight savings on Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines
Editor's Note
Atmos Rewards officially took flight in August, merging Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan and HawaiianMiles into a single loyalty program — and ushering in a new era of travel rewards for both airlines' flyers.
The launch introduced the Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® Credit Card, along with refreshed versions of Alaska's former cards: the Atmos™ Rewards Ascent Visa Signature® Credit Card and the Atmos™ Rewards Visa Signature® Business Card.
The information for the Alaska Airlines Visa Business card and the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
All three cards now feature updated welcome bonuses following the rebrand, giving travelers new ways to earn and redeem Atmos Rewards points.
Atmos Rewards Summit
The Atmos Rewards Summit features a valuable welcome bonus, useful earning rates and a solid suite of benefits.
Welcome offer: Earn 80,000 bonus points and a 25,000-point Global Companion Award after spending $4,000 or more on purchases within the first 90 days from account opening.
Based on TPG's October 2025 valuations, this bonus is worth up to $1,575 when you include the value of the 25,000-point Global Companion Award.
This offer is worth slightly less than its launch bonus, which included 100,000 bonus points for a higher minimum spending requirement of $6,000 (offer no longer available).
Annual fee: $395

Earning rates:
- 3 points per dollar spent on eligible Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines purchases, eligible dining and foreign transaction purchases
- 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases
Key benefits:
- 10,000 status points every year upon account anniversary, plus 1 status point for every $2 spent on the card
- A 10% rewards bonus on all points earned if you have an eligible Bank of America account
- A free checked bag on Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines for the cardholder and up to six guests on the same reservation (when you pay for your flight with your card)
- Priority boarding on Alaska Airlines for the cardholder and up to six guests on the same reservation (when you pay for your flight with your card); priority boarding will also apply on Hawaiian Airlines flights in the near future
- Two Alaska Lounge passes each quarter
- Up to $120 in statement credits for TSA PreCheck or Global Entry every four years
- No foreign transaction fees
Why we like it: This welcome offer includes a Global Companion Award, with points that can be redeemed for travel on Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines or a partner (including Oneworld members) for an award ticket in any class. The 25,000-point award is earned upon account opening and after each card anniversary. Cardholders can earn a second 100,000-point Global Companion Award after spending $60,000 or more in a card anniversary year.
They'll also receive a $50 voucher for Alaska Airlines flight cancellations within 24 hours or departure delays that exceed two hours, and pay no change fee for same-day changes to Alaska Airlines flight plans. This benefit will extend to Hawaiian Airlines-operated flights once both carriers are operating on the same reservation system, expected in 2026.
For frequent international travelers, earning 3 points per dollar spent on foreign transaction purchases is an industry first and can lead to quickly accruing Atmos Rewards points.

Atmos Rewards Ascent
Semifrequent Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines flyers who aren't looking to budget for a higher annual fee are the target audience for the Atmos Rewards Ascent, a mid-tier option with useful perks of its own.
Welcome offer: Earn 60,000 bonus points and a $99 Companion Fare (plus taxes and fees from $23) after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first 90 days of opening your account, plus receive a 30% global flight discount code for a qualifying future flight after opening your new account.
TPG's October 2025 valuations place this offer at $900 in points plus the value of the global flight discount code and the Companion Fare.
The flight discount is for cash fares on Alaska or Hawaiian Airlines within the U.S. and to select international routes. It's valid for one traveler, weekday flights only and must be booked by March 31, 2026 for limited travel windows in early 2026. (Blackout dates and fare exclusions apply.)
In short: It's a nice bonus if your travel fits the schedule, but too restrictive to be a deciding factor for most applicants.
Annual fee: $95

Earning rates:
- 3 points per dollar spent on eligible Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines purchases
- 2 points per dollar spent on gas, electric vehicle charging stations, cable, streaming services and local transit (including ride-hailing services)
- 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases
Key benefits:
- A 10% rewards bonus on all points earned if you have an eligible Bank of America account
- A free checked bag on Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines for the cardholder and up to six guests on the same reservation (when you pay for your flight with your card)
- Priority boarding on Alaska Airlines for the cardholder and up to six guests on the same reservation (when you pay for your flight with your card); priority boarding will also apply on Hawaiian Airlines flights in the near future
- Ability to earn an annual Companion Fare (plus taxes and fees from $23) after spending $6,000 on purchases within the prior card anniversary year
- No foreign transaction fees
Why we like it: The Atmos Rewards Ascent is an excellent choice for anyone who flies Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines at least a couple of times each year and could find value in the card's perks, including the ability to spend toward a Companion Fare benefit each year, a free checked bag and elevated earning rates in popular bonus categories.

Atmos Rewards Business
Small-business owners who fly Alaska Airlines, this one's for you. The Atmos Rewards Visa provides perks when you fly with Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines, good rewards-earning opportunities and a solid welcome offer for a reasonable annual fee.
Welcome offer: Earn 60,000 bonus points and a $99 Companion Fare (plus taxes and fees from $23) after spending $4,000on purchases within the first 90 days of account opening.
This bonus is worth $900 in points, per TPG's October 2025 valuations, plus the value of the Companion Fare.
The current bonus provides 20,000 fewer points than the card's launch offer but also requires $1,000 less in spending (offer is no longer available).
Annual fee: $70 for the company and $25 per card

Earning rates:
- 3 points per dollar spent on eligible Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines purchases
- 2 points per dollar spent on gas, EV charging stations, shipping and local transit (including ride-hailing services)
- 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases
Key benefits:
- $100 off an annual Alaska Lounge+ membership purchased with your card
- A 10% rewards bonus on all points earned if you have an eligible Bank of America business account
- Ability to earn an annual Companion Fare after spending $6,000 on purchases within the prior card anniversary year
- No foreign transaction fees
Why we like it: The Atmos Rewards Visa Signature Business is a great option for business owners who would benefit from the perks related to flying on Alaska and Hawaiian.
The Lounge+ membership discount on the business card isn't available on the personal cards, something to keep in mind if lounge access matters to you. However, the Summit does include two lounge passes per quarter, offering occasional access without a full membership.
Plus, with a long list of bonus categories and the opportunity to earn an annual Companion Fare, this is a strong option for a relatively low annual fee.
