Last Day to Earn up to 65,000 Miles With the United Explorer Card

The elevated sign-up offer on the United Explorer Card is about to come to an end. Based on TPG's valuations, 65,000 United miles are worth $910. In comparison, the Explorer Card's standard offer of 40,000 miles (after spending $2,000 in the first 3 months) is worth $560. So you're looking at an extra $350 in value if you apply now and can spend $10,000 total in the first 6 months from account opening to earn the full 65,000-mile bonus.

The Explorer Card has a $95 annual fee that's waived the first year, and no foreign transaction fees. You'll earn 2 miles per dollar on United purchases and on restaurant and hotel purchases, and 1 mile per dollar on all other spending.
