Until March 31st, the Chase Shopping portal is making it easier to earn bonus Ultimate Rewards points on your Apple purchases. During the promotion, you can earn 4 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar on select purchases made through the Chase Sapphire Ultimate Rewards shopping portal — 2 more bonus points per dollar than the standard rate.

In order to be eligible for the elevated offer, you must make your eligible Apple purchases through the Ultimate Rewards shopping portal. According to the terms and conditions, newly released products may not be eligible. In addition, gift wrap, gift cards, One to One Membership, Bose products and shipping are not eligible for the elevation. There’s no language that excludes specific products, such as the iMac Pro, iPhone X and Apple TV 4K, from the bonus earning, with the exception of the HomePod.

For a store that doesn't offer elevated points earning very often — and especially through Chase — this bonus is great. For example, if you purchase an iMac for $1,799 and an iPhone X for $999, you'd earn 11,192 Ultimate Rewards points. Based on TPG's most recent valuations, those points are worth $235.

Shopping portals are one of the best ways to earn bonus points or miles with an airline or point currency of your choosing. Be sure to make your purchase(s) before 3/31 in order to get the bonus points.
