Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using the American Express Platinum Card, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.
Several full-service airlines are currently offering great fares on tickets to Tel Aviv, Israel from several US cities. You can fly from Washington, DC (IAD), Boston (BOS) and Miami (MIA) with tickets starting at just $546 round-trip. All itineraries have a stop in each direction, but considering that flights to TLV consistently hover around $1,000 round-trip (on full-service carriers), this is a small price to pay. Flights are generally available from late February through early May 2018, but exact availability depends on your origin city, of course. Use Google Flights to help you find an itinerary that works, and then book through an OTA like Expedia or Orbitz, or directly through the airline.
