Valentine’s Day — or Singles Awareness Day, as some call it — is upon us. Don’t fret if you don’t have anyone to share the holiday with — you’re not the only one. If you’re looking to change that — or just find other solos around the country — these are the best places to find others in the same situation, according to MONEY magazine.

Based off places where there are great economic, romantic and social opportunities, these 10 towns represent the best places in the United States for singles. The study emphasizes places that have a strong economy and job prospects, as well as the low cost of living. Bars, restaurants and other social activities for singles were also considered for ranking the towns; all of these towns also have a large unmarried population.

Only towns with populations between 10,000 and 100,000 were considered for this, as well as places that value economic health, public safety and diversity. Below, the top 10:

1. Fayetteville, Arkansas

Fayetteville is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream with over 35 parks and countless trails on the Ozarks. The town has a thriving business community with an extremely low unemployment rate. Seven months out of the year, residents can pick up fresh, local produce from the Farmer’s Market located in the town’s center.

2. Somerville, Massachusetts

Located north of Boston, Somerville is filled with students and young professionals who went to one of the area’s universities. The town has a thriving nightlife with bars, live music, theaters and a brewery. Somerville boasts that it has one of the largest concentrations of artists in the country.

3. Clifton, New Jersey

Clifton has made numerous cameos on the big screen. The town’s been featured in The Sopranos and in the Johnny Depp film Donnie Brasco. It’s also home to the nation’s best hot dog. It’s also extremely affordable and accessible with New York City about 20 miles away.

4. Santa Monica, California

What’s more appealing than a town that stretches along the coast for three miles? Santa Monica offers some of the best views of the Pacific Ocean and is filled with fun stops like Muscle Beach and the Santa Monica Pier. The town is home to 75 museums and art galleries and more-than-often, the weather is perfect.

5. Lawrence, Kansas

Lawrence has been noted for its thriving music scene — there are tons of live music acts that roll through the town and you can easily find a comedy show or theater performance on any night of the week. This Kansas town also has a great visual art scene as well as tons of outdoor activities.

6. Carmel, Indiana

Located just outside Indianapolis, Carmel is one of the fastest growing cities in Indiana. Unemployment is low and the economy is strong so it’s a great place for young people to live in. There are entertainment options spread across Carmel from a-soon-to-open brewery to a performing arts center.
