Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency such as Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using The Platinum Card® from American Express, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.

WOW Air is promoting its new routes from the Midwest to Europe with some seriously low airfare deals. Many of the Europe-based travel deals we publish originate from the East Coast, so this deal is especially valuable for our Midwest readers.

[Update, 3/28/2019: WOW Air has ceased operations. Find our ongoing coverage of WOW Air’s collapse, and what affected passengers can do about it, here.]

As always, read the fine print carefully for baggage restrictions and hidden costs, and book sooner rather than later since peak travel times often have limited availability.
