Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using the The Platinum Card® from American Express, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.

Norwegian is offering low fares from a couple of its smaller US cities to Europe, with round-trip fares starting at $194. While you can search on the US version of the site entirely, for some fares, you’re likely to save some cash by using an international version of the site. Just make sure to buy your ticket with a credit card that has no foreign transaction fees.

The easiest way to find these deals is to search for cheap dates via Google Flights. Then click through to Orbitz, Expedia or the airline directly to book your tickets. While the some are booked in two versions of the site, some are cheapest just by booking entirely with the US version.
