Limited-Time Only: Earn Double Shop Your Way Points on Uber Rides for the Holiday Season

Uber and Shop Your Way have teamed up to offer users holiday bonus points for each ride you take. The new promotion, which runs through January 2, 2018, allows you to earn $4 CASHBACK for every ride you take with Uber.

Once you link your accounts and ride with Uber, you'll earn $4 CASHBACK points, which can then be redeemed online or in store. The CASHBACK points work at the following retailers: Sears, Kmart, Lands' End or shopyourway.com. Think of being able to use these points on your everyday essentials — snacks, clothing, household needs and more.

Keep in mind that you can only earn the CASHBACK points on Uber rides in the US, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Guam. In addition, note that these CASHBACK points won't stay valid for very long — they expire 30 days after issuance. So, when you earn from your Uber rides, you won't have long to use the points in your account. Also note that you won't earn the points on UberPool rides.

As part of this launch, the two are offering a special promotion for a limited time — the opportunity for 500 people to earn $10 in points. Until November 30, 2017, you'll automatically be entered to be one of 500 winners for $10 in Shop Your Way points. To get started, you'll need to hand print your complete name, mailing address, a valid email address and your Shop Your Way/Uber member number on a piece of paper and mail it to:

Each Uber ride you take will act as one entry into the sweepstakes. There are no trip minimums, no maximum number of trips and you can ride and enter as often as you'd like.
