Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.
Usually flying just one-way between the East Coast and the West Coast will set you back a couple hundred of dollars. A really good deal typically doesn't get much lower than $200 round-trip... until today. An incredible deal just popped up on American Airlines between Washington DC and San Francisco for under $100 round-trip. The great news is that these fares aren't being coded as basic economy. So, you won't have to pay more to get to pick your own seat. American Airlines elites will get a shot at an upgrade and full mileage credits. Flights are available from September 2017 through February 2018. Find your exact itinerary on Google Flights and then complete booking through an OTA such as Orbitz or Expedia.
