The Citi Prestige Card is getting refreshed to better compete with the other premium cards in the market like the Chase Sapphire Reserve and The Platinum Card from American Express. Highlights of the updated product include an elevated 75,000-point sign-up bonus, an improved cash redemption rate, the ability to book 4th Night Free reservations online and more.
Two major US airlines recently reported that their airfares are rising — which means higher prices for passengers across the board. Find out the reason behind the increase.

This week, JetBlue unveiled its plans for yet another significant Mint expansion in the US. Once these new flights begin, the airline will operate lie-flat business-class seats on more than 80 flights each day.
American Express recently improved the transfer ratio to 1:1 for British Airways Avios. Now through September 17, 2017, Amex is offering a 40% bonus on transfers to BA. Translation: for every 250 Membership Rewards points you transfer, you’ll get 350 Avios in return.
TPG Contributor Eric Rosen had the chance to experience Qatar Airways’ business-class product on board the A380 on a flight from Doha (DOH) to Paris (CDG). While it’s not the Qsuite, he found this product to still be an excellent one.
AA is targeting AAdvantage members with a unique status challenge in order to get to its highest level, Concierge Key, a status so exclusive the airline has to invite you to become a member. Perks include a meet and greet at the tarmac, free Admirals Club membership, priority boarding, top upgrade priority and invitations to exclusive event, among other benefits.
Fresh off a two-week strike that began at the beginning of the month, British Airways’ mixed-fleet cabin crew announced yet another strike this week. The new one began July 19 and will last four weeks until August 15, meaning further disruptions during the busy summer travel season.

WizzAir Is No Longer Charging for Carry-on Bags
Great news for budget travelers: Eastern European low-cost carrier WizzAir shared this week that it’s dropping fees for carry-on bags, essentially putting the airline on equal footing with competitors RyanAir and EasyJet.
