Instagram fiends take note: you are not welcome in the picturesque Swiss town of Bergün/Bravuogn.

The tiny mountain town's council overwhelmingly voted to ban photography within its borders last week, but not for reasons you might expect. According to a notice posted online by the council, the new rule will stop outsiders who aren't able to visit from getting too jealous.

"Photographs of our picturesque landscape, shared on social media, can make others unhappy because they themselves cannot be here," the notice warns.

But when someone tells you not to push the big red button, you know what happens next. Anticipating rampant lawbreaking, the council also announced a hefty fine sure to discourage photography — a whopping 5 francs (~$5) — and all fines will go toward protecting the region.
