Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using The Platinum Card® from American Express, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia's courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.
Flights to Europe are on sale with fares from just $350 round-trip. You can fly from several US cities including Boston (BOS), Los Angeles (LAX), New York (JFK), Miami (MIA) and San Francisco (SFO) to destinations like Brussels (BRU), Madrid (MAD), Rome (FCO), Zurich (ZRH) and more. Availability is wide open on many routes and these low prices are valid from late August 2017 through March 2018. It seems that all airline alliances are participating so you'll be able to choose from a variety of full-service carriers like American, British Airways and Delta. Use Google Flights to select your ideal departure city and destination and then book directly through the airlines.
