Deal Alert: Denver and Seattle to London From $480 Round-Trip

Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using the American Express Platinum Card, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.

Yesterday, Norwegian Air announced it was bringing its low-cost transatlantic fares to two new Western US cities: Seattle and Denver. One-way fares from both of the two cities to London's Gatwick Airport (LGW) are set at $199 in economy. The return fares run as low as $279.90, bringing the round-trip fares from both DEN and SEA to LGW to $480. Availability is pretty wide open through the end of schedule, so be sure to use Norwegian's Low Fare Calendar to ensure you're finding the lowest possible fare.

With some Norwegian fares, you can get the best deal by booking through a foreign version of the carrier's website. However, with these routes, we're seeing the cheapest option on the US version of the site. Keep in mind that Norwegian is a low-cost carrier, so you may be charged for things that you usually get for free.
